The hotel is right in the center, so there’s no need to take extra transport, and the area around it is very quiet. The rooms were clean and tidy, with a nice smell. The owner and staff were pleasant, and the hotel representatives provided excellent service. I’m very glad I chose this hotel for my stay in Rome.

Vincenzo was so friendly and shared great ideas for places to visit, excellent Italian restaurants, and delicious ice cream. The apartment was clean and nice, and the bathroom was too. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the Colosseum. We were very happy staying there and hope to come back. Thanks for everything. :) M+M

The room was clearly not fit for purpose, whether you’re travelling with a child or not. We left within 45 minutes of waking up and told the owner, after staying from 7 pm to 8:45 am, yet were charged 140eur with no refund because we had arrived with a child. The owner had been super helpful and friendly at check-in, and had agreed to let us stay for one night despite the policy saying adults only, since we’d made an honest mistake and hadn’t checked it while travelling with a child. But in daylight, the room’s many problems became clear. Despite a 20eur cleaning fee, it hadn’t been cleaned for us: there was black mold in the bathroom, damp walls and pillows, mold around the window, and plaster falling off the walls. The bathroom was small, smelled bad, and had a missing lightbulb, a blocked bidet, and a squashed insect at eye level on the tile. The bathroom smelled really grotty after a shower. There was dust and hair on the bedroom floor, and the bedsheets were damp. There was also an overflowing dumpster right below the window, though the owner seemed to have little influence over it. This was the worst accommodation my wife or I have ever stayed in.

The apartment was in a good location, with several famous tourist spots nearby. We had a nice stay, and Mr. Vinchenzon was very pleasant to talk with.
