Rome Lux House guest rooms

After booking and paying through Booking, we arrived in Rome to find out we'd been overbooked. I eventually learned this through Booking support because the owner wouldn't return my calls. It was awful to discover late in the evening that my pregnant wife and I had nowhere to stay, especially after repeated attempts to reach the owner. At the very least, a call or message back could have helped. Not even acknowledging the mistake is why I'm leaving this review.

This place was clean and modern, and both Andrea and the owner were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, just a few minutes from the Colosseum and the heart of Rome, but tucked into a quiet neighborhood away from traffic and noise. Don't hesitate to book it for your Rome vacation.

We stayed three days, and nothing was changed during that time. The staff's attitude was so bad, and they weren't friendly. The listing showed laundry, but they don't actually have it. Worse, they never changed the bed linens, which felt really dirty, and there was no clean toilet paper or towel.

The host was prompt and professional, and went out of the way to make sure I was comfortable. My room at Rome Lux Guest House was top notch, comfortable and very clean. Since I arrived quite late in the evening, I especially appreciated the drinks and snacks the host had left for me. I'm from the USA and give Rome Lux Guest House an A+ rating. I'll check for availability here next time I visit Rome. Highly recommend!
