Rome Palace

It was amazing.

We got good value for our money, which mattered a lot since we don't have a big budget. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time, and the location made it easy to get around and see the city. We'd happily come back and highly recommend it ❤️

I chose this place for its central location next to Termini Station and had booked just one night. But I regretted that choice as soon as I walked into the building. A young man handed me the keys and receipt when I arrived, then left. I never saw him again. The room was cramped, the bathroom tiny and without a bidet, and there was a leak under the sink. There were supposed to be toiletries on the bed, but I found only one sachet of shower gel and one shower towel. I called the man I'd spoken to, and he said in English that he'd contacted the owner, had stopped working, and the owner would deal with it. In the end, after my first shower, I had to go out and buy soap and makeshift towels. It was 40°C in Rome yesterday. I'm sharing this because I strongly advise against staying at this B&B. If you see it on Booking.com or another platform, run. Truly horrible!
