Rose Garden Palace by OMNIA hotels

After busy days sightseeing, the pool was a relaxing spot for a swim and a rest. The staff were warm and polite, always greeting us with a smile, and even helped book experiences at the last minute. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. We stayed four nights in a lovely, clean, modern hotel, and our spacious room was tidied daily with toiletries replenished. Breakfast had lots of choice, and the bar and other services were excellent. The place is beautifully decorated and well looked after, in a fantastic location. I’d happily stay here again in this perfect city!

I was there for a meeting, but didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t speak to the rooms. The service was exemplary, and Simone the bar manager deserves a special thanks. I had a glass of excellent red wine, cesanese, while waiting for my meeting. The hotel has elegant vibes and a great location near Piazza Barberini, with galleries, important churches, and high-end restaurants nearby.

Our flight was cancelled, so we checked into the Rose Garden Hotel. We woke up to no water at all. When we contacted the front desk, they were indifferent and offered no help or solution. The staff seemed not to care. We asked about another room or whether there was a shower in the spa, but got nowhere. I understand that things happen, but the complete lack of concern or effort to help was stunning. Avoid this place!

The photos make this hotel look like a nightmare, and that matched my experience. I paid around 300 euros a night for what’s supposedly a “4 stars hotel,” but the cleanliness and service from the staff and manager were shameful. The duvet had a yellow stain, the shower was mouldy, and no one was helpful. I had to leave early for personal arrangements and asked to cancel two nights, but they refused, citing their policy that early departures aren’t refunded. Agoda tried to get the hotel to amend my booking and refund me, but the hotel rejected it. It felt like they wanted to rip me off any way they could. Not recommended. At this price, you can find a better hotel that values its customers.
