There’s no receptionist at the property. You check in somewhere else, and all communication happens over WhatsApp. The room itself is badly dated, and they provide only a thin sheet instead of a proper duvet. The water swings between scalding and freezing, and the drain was clogged. I had to clear out the dirt and hair myself before I could use it. Even with the windows shut at 11 pm, shouting and other loud noises came through because the room isn’t soundproof. I honestly don’t see how this place got a 2-star rating. It deserves no more than one. This was the worst experience we’ve ever had, with every hotel drawback you can imagine. YHA is much better.

The room was clean but small, and the service at the front desk was quick and good. Breakfast was okay, and luggage storage worked well. With some fixes, this could be a good value place. There were several problems, though. Wi-Fi was so weak it was nearly useless. Other guests smoked at night, and the smell spread through rooms connected to the common area. When I complained, staff told me to find the room myself or they wouldn't do anything. My room was in a different building from check-in, in a place anyone could enter, with no staff in the common area. They took my used towel without leaving a clean one, and I don't know why. The shower box was the smallest I've ever used, with barely room to move and nowhere to put shower items. The heater couldn't keep the water hot at full pressure, so it kept alternating between hot and cold.

The price is definitely affordable, and the room was clean, though small and very basic in appearance. There’s no kettle. I also found the location unsafe and uncomfortable: just outside, lots of homeless people were sleeping, and some were even on the condo staircase.

It was a small place, but cheap, comfortable, and looked good, with a really convenient spot right by the metro. The rooms were very clean and well cared for, and our towels were changed every two days. The shower was odd: the oversized head didn't aim properly for the small shower. The veranda door also wouldn't close properly. Still, it was really good value.

The room was nice, and the gentleman who checked us in at Agora hotel was lovely. Getting around was easy, with the metro and bus stops very close. We stayed from 30 - 2 June. The busy, noisy street below meant ear plugs were a must, and the soundproofing wasn't great. Having to check in at another hotel was inconvenient. On the first day the shower flooded because its filter was clogged. They didn't replenish toilet paper, shower gel, and the like, and there was never anyone at reception, so keep that in mind when booking. Amenities weren't the best, but the hotel wasn't the worst either.
