Saint Peter Elegance Suite

The room had just been refurbished, and the hosts were very welcoming. We were delighted with our stay. The Vatican is within walking distance, and there's a bus stop nearby. Music from the bar next door carried on until 11PM, but it didn't bother us. We'll be back when we're in Rome again, thank you!

The owners were friendly and accommodating, and when we asked for things they communicated without hesitation. We stayed nearly a week, though by the third day the shower had no hot water, and it isn't built for a typical American size. There are three different rooms here: one is standard, one has a large jet tub, and another opens onto a back terrace where people sit and smoke. Breakfast isn't served on site. Instead, you get vouchers for nearby vendors around the corner, for coffee and a croissant only.

The neighborhood is nice and near the Vatican, and a bus gets you to the city center. The place was clean. Still, the bathroom is tiny and the disposable shampoo bottles are tiny too. The walls are thin, so there's a lot of noise. You can't flush toilet paper, which felt unsanitary, and checkout at 10:30 is early. Important sights aren't within walking distance.

The location worked really well for us, about a 15 minute walk to Travestreve and its bars, restaurants, and other cool spots. It's a well-run family place, and the owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. 10/10, I'd stay again.
