Six Senses Rome

The rooftop bar was the best part for me, with a great atmosphere and well worth a visit. The main restaurant, though, felt more like a canteen than the premium dining experience I expected. My impressions of Six Senses Rome were mixed: some staff were very professional and attentive, while others seemed inexperienced and below the standard you'd expect at this level. The room also felt noticeably smaller than at other Six Senses properties, which was disappointing given the brand's reputation for spacious luxury.

I’m so grateful to Myung at the front desk. My partner had hired a terrible photographer for our engagement photos, and I wasn’t happy with the results, so I asked Myung for what felt like an impossible, last-minute photoshoot. Within 3 hours, she’d arranged a great photographer and makeup artist, and the team was at my door. She went above and beyond. It really felt like a Cinderella moment, and I’m thankful to her and the team. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a terrace with our room, though the rain meant we only stepped out once. I loved the view, and the interior design throughout the hotel is something I’m a little obsessed with. From the moment we arrived, the place felt special. It’s sophisticated and cozy, with lots of thought and care in the details. Sustainability matters here too. The design, materials, art, and olive oil all come from local and sustainable suppliers rather than cheap alternatives. It didn’t feel like greenwashing: the hotel puts a percentage of its income into a fund for local initiatives and runs activities in its Earth Lab. We did an olive oil tasting and a coloring class with our family and kids using natural colors, and had so much fun. I’d recommend trying a sustainability tour or another activity. The staff, from reception and the restaurant to management, were always kind and thoughtful. They remembered our preferences, gave the kids a cookie, chatted with us, and helped plan our stay. We hope to be back!

Annarita made my massage wonderfully relaxing. She was attentive and very professional. The spa was clean and well organized, and everyone there was polite and welcoming. The whole experience was handled with care. Highly recommended 🤍
