The room looked just like the photos, and the house was bright, clean, and well kept, including the stairs. There’s no elevator, but the hot water and water pressure were excellent. When we had an issue with the bed, the host replied right away, came to inspect it, and even offered to move us. They handled it really efficiently. It’s about a 19-minute walk from the train station. The place is on Via di Porta Maggiore rather than down an alley, which felt safer to me. Around 9 pm I noticed some homeless people nearby. There were plenty of others around, so I wasn’t too worried, but it’s still good to stay aware of your surroundings. Trains can sometimes be heard or cause a slight vibration because of the location, though it wasn’t a problem for us. There are trams on the main street, bus stops nearby, and Manzoni metro station is a 10-minute walk away. Lots of restaurants are close too, so you won’t go hungry 😋

We'd happily stay at Suite Maggiore again. The room was clean and had a great shower, and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. They also gave us some great suggestions for places to eat.

Check-in was a mess. The staff were unprepared and we had to wait until 6 pm. There wasn’t any toilet paper, and despite asking, we never got the Wi-Fi password. A chair in the room would help too.
