Trastevere 3 - Wr Apartments

Trastevere Rooms is a wonderful place to stay while exploring Rome. The hosts were very helpful with tips for getting around and finding some great views. The bus and tram to the major sights are just a minute’s walk away. The cafe downstairs was a nice spot for coffee and pastries first thing, and you can pick up bus tickets there. There are plenty of dining options in the area, about a 10-minute walk away.

Fabio, the manager and owner, was very attentive and made sure we were looked after. His English is limited but enough for basic directions and asking for amenities; Spanish may make it easier to talk with him. The location worked well. There are large shade trees, and the tram and bus stop right outside. Our room faced the main street, but it wasn’t too busy or loud. It quieted down after 10 pm and stayed that way until 7 am. The room was about 12X12 Ft, a reasonable size for a couple, and the bathroom was on the small side. There’s a large step between the floor and shower box, but that was okay for me. Restaurants and bars in Trástevere are about a 12-minute walk away, and Roma Termini is around 20 minutes by bus. We really enjoyed our stay at Trastevere Rooms.

The man looking after us was super nice and kept in touch in case we needed anything. It’s set up like a large apartment with a shared kitchen, while each guest has a private room and bathroom, secured with their own key. Great neighborhood and close to everything. We loved the nearby pizzeria called Pizza Ré.

The rooms were clean and everything worked, and the staff were extremely friendly. They were always glad to suggest restaurants or routes, and they were understanding and relaxed when we asked to check out a little later. The place is right in front of a bus stop, so getting to the city center is quick. It’s in Trastevere, with very good restaurants and takeout spots a 10-to-15-minute walk away. Highly recommend it. I’d happily stay again.
