We were here in winter, so there's not much I can say. The heating worked just fine, and the mattresses, pillows and duvets were really comfortable. I especially appreciated finding two spare pillows in the closet. The double room was a bit small, with a very small TV, and the two mattresses making up the double bed could easily come apart. There was no mattress cover, only a flat sheet.

The room was spotless, and the staff were friendly. There's no fridge or safe, but at least there's air conditioning, and the free private parking is great. The hotel is basic, with a simple breakfast, but it's fine as somewhere to sleep. Walk 15-20 minutes one way for food and drinks, or 15-20 the other way to the beautiful beaches of Quercetano Bay. If you eat at their restaurant, which I have more to say about, you get 10% off.

I picked this hotel in Caletta di Castiglioncello for its enviable spot just steps from the sea and a splendid coast view. The area is quiet, good for relaxing and walking along the seafront, and it has a good parking space. But my stay didn't feel worth the €100 price. The amenities are poor, with no elevator, dated rooms, small showers and a very minimal breakfast of prepackaged food. Rates seem high for what's offered, perhaps only justified by the location. With more attention, it could be an excellent choice. I wouldn't recommend it if comfort and quality matter to you, only if being close to the beach is your priority.

We stayed here on two weekends in a row in June. Vittorio at reception was very courteous and helpful. The location is excellent, just 100 meters from Caletta beach, an easy walk away. Rooms and bathrooms are a good size, and breakfast is mostly sweet but still good and varied. My only complaint is the room soundproofing, especially the doors. You can hear all the noise from the halls and common areas, and I imagine they can hear you too.
