The hosts were attentive, and everything was very clean. A great place to stay in Tuscany, with immaculate gardens and a beautiful swimming pool.

We stayed in the ARCHI apartment at Il Coltro, a lovely Tuscan villa with a pool near beautiful San Gimignano. It had two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a large living and kitchen area. The kitchen was fully equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher and fridge, and both bedrooms had air conditioning. The rooms were clean and full of character. Mauro and Donatella live there and run the place; they were friendly and helpful with everything. I hope I can come back to this beautiful place.

Mauro, the owner, makes you feel relaxed and free, and treats you with respect, like an important customer. It’s a nice country hotel in a good location. We had an awesome stay, and I’ll keep coming back.

Lovely hosts and an outdoor swimming pool. Getting there by road can be nerve-racking, though: the kerbs have collapsed, so the access road isn’t for the faint-hearted.
