I stayed in a cozy single room with its own bathroom, TV, closet, and AC. Around the property they grow herbs, vegetables, fruit, and flowers, and there are donkeys, a dog, chickens, a rooster, swans, birds, frogs, and hedgehogs. The peaceful resort has hiking and biking trails, and the pool has a small waterfall and a shallow section that’s great for little kids. The views and staff are amazing. The food is organic, authentic Italian, and farm to table, with award-winning wine made from fresh organic grapes. The owner serves four-course dinners. The dirt road up to the villa is better suited to a car that isn’t low to the ground, so keep that in mind when renting. Once there, we felt like we’d stepped into a peaceful paradise. Stefano and Donatella welcomed us so warmly, and our stay really touched us. We could take day trips to nearby towns, then cool off in the pool later. The food was incredible and grown organically on the property. The whole place felt authentic, from the setting and staff, including Maria, who was so lovely, to the wine, some of the best we tasted during our stay. If you want a true Tuscan experience, this is the place. We’re so grateful we got to stay.

We spent hours by the pool and over amazing meals from the kitchen. Stefano also gave us a thoughtful history of the property and a little tour. What a place. The team he and his wife have looking after guests were welcoming and helpful, and made it easy to have a quiet escape. We’d booked a wine tour for one evening, but ended up letting it pass because we didn’t want to leave, even for a few hours. The property is stunning. Relaxing starts as soon as you park and drop your bag in the room. A true little piece of paradise.

For me, this is what Tuscany should feel like. My wife and I spent three nights here in June 2024, surrounded by beautiful countryside, grapes, and olive trees. The food was good, but the atmosphere and staff stood out most. The service felt warm and family-like, nothing like the stiff service at a luxury hotel. The farm makes its own wine, and I’d absolutely recommend tasting it with the owner, Stefano. We’ll definitely come back! ❤️ // Erik and Anna
