The rooms were clean and pleasant, and the location is great. What really made our stay, though, was the family who runs the hotel and restaurant. They were generous with their time and so helpful with advice. Thank you 🙌🏼

We barely slept because a private club below our room played loud music out into the street until 4 a.m. The room even had a “do not disturb” sign, but that didn't help. The air conditioning was noisy and kept tripping the electricity meter after a few minutes. We reset it three times, then gave up. The TV seemed to be there for show: the picture was blurry, and the bathroom felt a bit dated. A terrible stay, with very little customer service.

We spent a week at Caterina House B&B, right in the center of San Lucido on Via dei Lampadari. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and we were greeted warmly and professionally when we arrived. Breakfast was a very good American-style one. We also had full board, with dinner at Ristorante da Peppone, where the seafood was delicious and delicately flavored. After lunch we tried the house dessert and the restaurant's own San Lucido amaro. I highly recommend both. I'd gladly come back, and recommend it to anyone wanting a few relaxing days in a room with a sea view.

There are little shops along Vico dei Lampadari, which gives the street its own character. Caterina House is quite basic, but breakfast is included. Da Peppone is just downstairs and has the same owners. Adequate.
