Albergo Scaldaferro

The restaurant has the feel of a typical Italian workplace, with good food and polite people. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and they speak English. The place is nice and clean, and the Wi-Fi works perfectly. Whether it suits you depends on where you're headed.

The main problem was comfort in the heat. We were there for two hot, humid days, and the central air conditioning kept shutting itself off about a minute after we switched it on. Reception suggested opening the window, but our room faced west, so the afternoon sun just brought more heat inside. On top of that, there was a terrible smell from the surrounding countryside in the mornings and evenings, which made things even harder to put up with. The positive comments about the pleasant reception, cleanliness, buffet breakfast, location, and price are accurate. Still, unless the hotel focuses on guests' comfort, especially in hot weather, I can't give it more than two stars. The website photos should also be updated to show the hotel's true condition. It's old, and the air conditioning needs fixing or a lower setting.

The room was small, but clean and tidy. There was a wide choice of excellent food. The wireless connection, though, was weak and patchy, and kept dropping out.

I've been coming here for years. The atmosphere is lovely, and the food is great. One of the best places I know in regione Veneto. Well done!
