Horse riding was the highlight for me. I went on both days and got to see the most magical Tuscan scenery. The pool was lovely too, just right for cooling off in summer. The farm is surrounded by greenery and quiet, and you can reach public transport on foot, so a car isn't necessary. Luca, his wife, and his parents were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. They prepared a delicious dinner, with olive oil and wine made right there on the farm, which made it a special experience. The apartment was spacious and beautifully cared for, with lovely old furniture and a warm, homey feel throughout. I was so sad to leave and will definitely return. It's a wonderful place to rest after a busy time exploring Florence. Thank you for such a magical stay! 🫶🏼🐴

We left after one night, even though we'd booked three, because the conditions were so bad. The pool deck was rotten and felt dangerous to walk across. The pool was extremely dirty. One of our children wanted to swim and did, despite the water, then developed an ear infection a few days later. After seeing our photos, a doctor said the pool was a likely cause. We told the host what had happened and explained that both kids had been looking forward to using the pool. He was dismissive and arrogant, showed no empathy, and refused any refund. The room also had a terrible old-lady smell, and although the air conditioning made noise, it didn't cool the room. The photos on Booking don't show how bad it is. There's a similar review with pictures by Frederick Chalmer here on Google, so this seems to be a recurring issue. Stay away if you don't want to be disappointed.

The rooms smelled bad, and the pool was filthy and broken, so it didn't feel safe for children. When we raised the problems, the owners were very rude. A really terrible stay. I wouldn't recommend booking here.

A lovely old Italian hotel in a beautiful setting, with amazing wine. It has that old-world feel and is a nice place to switch off and relax with a good glass.
