It was a nice stay, but I wouldn’t book again. One night a man tried to come into our apartment, though luckily the door was locked. I’m not sure who he was. There seemed to be other apartments being rented too, so maybe he was another guest. The booking page said breakfast was included, but it wasn’t. I’m not sure how the pricing works. They did make the beds every morning, so what was included felt a bit unclear. We didn’t meet the owners. There were gardeners around, and I think the owners’ sister handed us the key when we arrived. The villa is in a good location, but very bare. Bring basics like salt, pepper and coffee. There’s a Moka pot in a cupboard, but no kettle or toaster, just a simple, very cheap oven with hot bars for cooking. There weren’t proper wine glasses either. The freezer didn’t work, and the frozen food we bought thawed overnight. Clean towels were left for us but never replaced, so we had to wash towels and clothes in the sink. There was shower gel, but no shampoo.

Dinner on the terrace at sunset was such a lovely experience, and the view from that apartment terrace was breathtaking. The place was cozy, very clean and decorated with a nice atmosphere. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat, and the bathroom had soap, shower gel and a hair dryer. The windows and doors have mosquito nets, and though there’s no air conditioning, the thick stone walls kept it pleasantly cool even in the heat. We also spent time by the clean pool, with lots of places to sunbathe, and enjoyed cooling off there. The garden is well kept and full of blooms. It’s peaceful and quiet, just right for unwinding. The hosts are easy to get along with and very nice. We bought their own olive oil and thought it was excellent. I’d like to return one day.

The apartments are roomy and well equipped, and the bed was just right. I spent most of my time there on my own, enjoying the quiet by the pool and those amazing sunsets. The views are stunning, the place is so peaceful, and I loved seeing the animals wandering around.

It’s peaceful and comfortable here, with an amazing view, and plenty of beautiful villages nearby. We’ve been to Tuscany several times over the past 10 years and stayed in more than 15 places. This one is definitely among our top three.

The home cooked meals were the best, and the views are beautiful. It’s quiet and really comfortable here. You’ll be spoilt if you stay, whether for a weekend or while traveling. I highly recommend it.
