For a four-star hotel, the rooms feel dated, the soundproofing is poor, and housekeeping could be better. Breakfast also falls short: there are very few savory options, the tea is Twinings, and the yogurts are from Lidl. The service overall doesn't meet what I'd expect at this rating.

The rooms were simple and cute, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast and parking were included, which was nice.

Breakfast was the highlight, especially the coffee, and the staff were polite and professional. They spoke English very well. The rooms are large, with good beds and a nice bathroom, and they were comfortable, but the furnishings feel dated and ready for refurbishment. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, though it's a decent place to stop and rest on a road trip.

We picked it for an overnight stop on our road trip because the location suited us, with free parking and the highway nearby. You could hear passing cars, but traffic was fairly light, at least over the weekend, so it didn't bother us much. The building is old-fashioned, though still in reasonably decent shape. Breakfast was quite good for Italy, with omelettes and coffee prepared by a barista.

This might have been a very good hotel twenty years ago, but since then it seems they haven't spent a cent on renovations, and maintenance hasn't been enough either. They advertise a gym, but it's basically a joke: nothing works, and there are no dumbbells or floor mats. There isn't any usable equipment at all.
