The reception staff were really friendly and gave us helpful recommendations. For one night, the place worked out fine, especially at such a low price. The location is great for getting around. Our room, though, wasn't very good: the air felt stuffy, there was no elevator, and the bathroom door was open along the bottom, which made it feel like there was hardly a door there.

My car was towed while I was away, because the public parking lot the hotel had directed me to was under construction. I'd specifically asked whether I could leave it there all day, every day, for the whole week, and they told me yes. I only got pointed toward the right place to sort it out because, luckily, a police car happened to be nearby. The hotel should know about this kind of thing. If my colleague hadn't been staying a couple more days, I would have missed my flight.

The location is very central, and reception does offer a discount for parking. Still, all the car parks are at least a 15-30 minute walk away. Breakfast was awful: the milk and juice were warm, the packaged pastries tasted bad, and the coffee wasn't up to Italian standards. There was no air-conditioning, just a ceiling fan with one speed, which was no good in the middle of August.

Breakfast was really poor, especially the disgusting instant coffee. I didn't think it was possible to get bad coffee in Italy, but apparently it is. The hotel itself is nice and very clean, though everything is old. Our room was decent and fairly spacious, with a large window in the bathroom. The location is perfect, only a few steps from the main square. I can still recommend the place.

The receptionist was polite, kind, and enthusiastic with the white man ahead of us, even helping him with his belongings. When it was our turn, we greeted him and spoke to him in Italian, but he didn't respond. His attitude toward us was bad and rude.
