The location made it so easy to explore Syracuse and Ortigia, and the room itself was beautiful, clean, and charmingly decorated, with lovely natural light and a balcony. Communication and service were fantastic from booking through checkout. It felt luxurious. Thanks, Francesco, for everything!

We were in a first-floor apartment with a balcony facing the city. It had everything we needed: plenty of space and natural light, a comfortable bed, a great shower, and a small but practical kitchenette. The daily cleaning was outstanding, and the staff were always smiling. It’s in a quiet area, just a five-minute walk from lively Ortigia, so the location was perfect. Francesco and Giovanni were both very helpful and friendly during our stay. Before we arrived, I’d asked Francesco several questions, and he always replied quickly and warmly. Thanks to Francesco and the team for making our stay so memorable!

Our room was stunning, with loads of space and a huge balcony looking over the marina. Francesco talked us through the neighborhood using a tourist map, then sent some great restaurant suggestions over WhatsApp. He also found out it was my birthday and arranged a bottle of Sicilian bubbles for us in the room when we got back. The location was perfect for Ortigia, and the hospitality was wonderful. Giovani and Francesco got in touch before we arrived with check-in and parking advice. Francesco even waited outside for us, having managed to save a parking spot right in front of the hotel. Such a great start. 10/10, we’d stay again and recommend it to everyone!

Francesco was exceptionally kind, quick to respond, and helpful throughout our stay. His recommendations and attention to making sure everything was right made us feel truly welcome. The apartment at Fortaleza Charme House was beautiful, spotless, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. It’s only a few steps from Ortigia Island, so seeing the main sights, restaurants, and historic places was easy. Even with everything so close, the area was quiet and peaceful, which made it a relaxing place to stay.

Francesco was a very friendly and helpful host, and the place was spacious, full of light, and beautifully appointed. It’s close to attractions and lots of great restaurants. Over our five weeks in Italy, this was a real highlight among the places we stayed.
