I agreed to pay €95 for an extra night on top of the Smartbox, but they later changed their minds and refused it. They wouldn't take a Smartbox booking either, even though I'm part of the network. The website showed the room at €60, but I was told those prices were old. The rate seems to change depending on who calls, even when asking for the same dates. They also charge €15 a day for a small dog. A terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend booking here.

I contacted them by email and phone to ask about the refusal, and I would have understood their reasons. Still, I expected at least a reply to my email. If you have a Smartbox, don't try to book, they turned me down despite the dates showing as available on the Smartbox website. I won't contact this place again, for Smartbox or any other kind of booking.

The owners' warm welcome and the rooms in this tastefully renovated farmhouse are the charm here. The tour gives you a full view of the hills and vineyard rows. It's a remote, isolated spot, which may be exactly what makes it appealing. Don't come expecting luxury or elegance.

On arrival, the owner offered us two glasses of their own wine, and otherwise we had nothing to complain about. The agriturismo has a fantastic view. The one real drawback was the heat at night: without air conditioning in the rooms, sleeping during the sweltering weather was impossible.
