Agriturismo Santa Rosa

We came as a family in August and spent a few days here. The owners looked after us warmly and were always helpful. We also toured the farm and had a dinner of local products, prepared with real care in a family-run setting. Our rustic apartment had big living-room windows opening onto the woods, which made it feel like we were right among the trees. A really pleasant city break.

The breakfast was the weak point for us. At €8 per person per day, the supply for two days included milk, ACE juice, ham, ricotta, four yogurts, biscuits, and bottled water. The homemade items were fruit, fig jam, and a cake. We made coffee ourselves with a moka pot and heated the milk, and breakfast had to be eaten in the apartment. €32 felt like a lot. The farmhouse itself is lovely and peaceful, reached by a 1.5 km dirt road. Our apartment was roomy and clean, with adequate heating and easy parking. There's no Wi-Fi, but plenty of room for children.

There’s no human noise here, just the woods around this well-kept farmhouse. The apartments were clean and welcoming, and the owners made us feel at home. Il Trebbio is a lovely walk away, where you can have breakfast or a meal if you want. I’d give this place 10 out of 10, definitely worth a visit.

It’s quiet here from morning through evening. We watched the fog settle over the valley, then slowly clear as nature woke up, with the silence carrying on through the day. The breeze moving through the trees and the view over the greenery are lovely. Breakfast can be booked, and the Il Trebbio farmhouse puts together a basket of treats. You can also have dinner at the nearby farmhouse. The road is well kept and easy to drive, though a secluded place like this naturally isn’t right off the highway. We felt warmly welcomed.
