We stayed at villa Angelica for 30 days this summer with our two kids. It's a very nice place close to the sea, with big, clean rooms, plenty of privacy, and a calm, quiet setting. The staff were friendly and willing to help. Fitness at the villa was included at no extra charge, and there's a supermarket close by. We were fully satisfied.

The rooms were clean and the location is pretty good, and the property clearly has a lot of potential. But the host's absence really undermines the stay. He never answers calls, only WhatsApp, and with nobody there to welcome us, the directions for finding the rooms were unclear. He also seemed to have little empathy for guests. Breakfast was another letdown, just four items on a counter. It could be so much better managed, but I don't think I'll come back.

The triple room had plenty of space, and both it and the large bathroom were comfortable and clean. The property itself is lovely and has a lot of potential. What let the stay down was breakfast: the cleaning lady served a very meager spread of basic items and leftover donuts. There was no blanket for the single bed, and staff weren't willing to bring one, so my daughter had to keep warm with our bedspread. Maybe that was because it was low season. The LED lights on the bedside tables and bathroom mirrors are a nice touch, though it'd help if they were charged.

Mr. Marco was so kind and helpful. The room was cozy, neat, and clean, and breakfast was plentiful. It's a beautiful, elegant place where every detail has been carefully considered.
