The decorations were the only part of my boyfriend’s birthday arrangement that went as agreed. I’d booked a room with a tub, Prosecco and appetizers, and love-themed decor. There wasn’t any aperitif. When I contacted the owner, he offered two pizzas as an apology, which we accepted, but they never arrived. Later, as we were filling the tub, the water stopped. The owner came to fix it, and the water came back, but then he said he couldn’t order the pizzas. Instead, he gave us a tray with a pack of tarallini, an orangeade, and two Raffo biscuits. We didn’t have any of it because we don’t drink beer, and I’d agreed to have Prosecco. I had to go looking for some at 10 pm so we could still celebrate. After a while the water drained again, leaving the tub unusable. It was really disappointing, even though there seemed to be attempts to make things right. The service needs work. Two young people can still enjoy an evening together, but it wasn’t fair to pay a fortune for a room with a tub, Prosecco, and an aperitif and get neither a working tub nor Prosecco. Poor. What a shame.

Miss Lucia was friendly, helpful, and happy to recommend restaurants and places to visit. I had a great stay in a nice room with air conditioning, TV, fridge, and more. The location is excellent, right in the center of Taranto.

The owner was very hospitable and kind, always around if we needed anything. I spent a couple of days here and had a great time. The building was quiet, just a few steps from the center, and my room was spacious, bright, and very clean. The room with the whirlpool tub was lovely too, and would be perfect for an anniversary or other special occasion with your partner! 😉 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A comfortable B&B with breakfast included and hygienic rooms set up romantically. Nothing was missing, even a mini-bar. The lovely Miss Lucia la Gioia was friendly and available with advice and directions to historic places like museums, Aragonese Castle, the swing bridge, and the waterfront, as well as fresh seafood restaurants. Down in the city you’ll find shops and spacious squares, great for carefree evenings. Beautiful place, I highly recommend it 💯
