I’d avoid this place. I booked, but left straight away. The owner said there was a problem with the key, and after we talked, I realized we were expected to share the B&B and bathroom with him because he lived there too. 🤦🏼♀️ You decide...

This was misleading. The website photos show only part of the apartment, and the basement room we were given was bare, damp, and full of spiders. The sheets hadn’t been ironed, the towels didn’t match, there was no headboard on the bed, and schoolbooks sat on the shelf. It felt like making do at a friend’s place after a party when there are too many people. Dust, cobwebs, and belongings left by previous guests made us seriously doubt how clean and sanitized the place was, especially during COVID-19. The owner was rushed and rude, and never wore a mask around us. It’s not somewhere to rest after a day of sightseeing. Avoid it.

The host at the B&B was welcoming, helpful, and tidy, and we thought it was good value for money. From here, you can enjoy pleasant, easy walks to the main streets.

No receipt, and they don’t take debit cards. We’re still in the Stone Age. What a shame.

A great spot for a relaxing getaway, just a few kilometers from the city’s historic center.
