Haller Hof

We stayed for a week in apartment D on the ground floor. It had a small outdoor area where we could relax in the evenings, and everything we needed, though there’s no oven. There’s a supermarket two minutes away on foot, and the Hochmuth lift is about a 10-minute walk up at the top of Dorf Tirol. It’s a good starting point for hikes to Muthkopf and Spitze. For Spitze, I’d recommend going to Oberkaser Alm first and approaching from the back, since the front ascent is boring. The location is handy, with private parking on site and quick access to the main road. The main drawback was the Wi-Fi, which was only okay at best. Mobile reception in Dorf Tirol was bad too, so that didn’t help.

The owner was kind and helpful, and the apartment was clean and well equipped, including a dishwasher. It’s in a charming village and well placed for visiting Merano and nearby villages, or heading out for lovely walks.

We enjoyed our second stay at Haller Hof just as much as the first. The modern, clean apartment is lovely and centrally located, with shops and a bus stop right nearby. Highly recommended!

We spent ten days in type B at Haller Hof, with its large balcony, and felt at home from the moment we arrived. The apartment is thoughtfully furnished, and the owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. You can buy eggs, honey, apples and wine from the farm’s producer, which we highly recommend. Haller Hof is right in the center of Dorf Tirol and has its own parking spaces, making it a great base for exploring the area. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.
