Borgo Antico Apartments

We liked the hotel and the area too :)

The pool was clean and lovely, and getting to the lake or either supermarket was an easy walk. We stayed in a ground-floor apartment as a group of four, and I’d book it again. Inside, it was nicely furnished, with loads of storage and plenty of crockery. We brought a few kitchen tools, like knives. There was a hairdryer, and our own washing machine came in handy twice, so not having the towels replaced during the week didn't bother us. The duvets were proper, warm duvets rather than just sheets, which was nice. We spent time on the pretty terrace beneath the awning beside the banana plants. The place was generally comfortable, though the German plugs didn't fit every socket, so an adapter might be useful. Wi-Fi was supposed to be available but hardly worked. Our small dog squeezed through the extra fence by the hedge twice, so it wasn't secure enough for him. There were also a lot of pesky mosquitoes after more than a week of rain shortly before we arrived, though we had perfect weather during our stay. The driveway is really narrow. Even in a station wagon we got in on the first try and back out with only one small adjustment.

The staff were so kind and welcoming, and the place itself was peaceful despite being only minutes from the center, supermarkets, and nearby villages. I stayed here for a few days with my children, and we had a great time. Everything felt clean, from the apartments to the facilities. I liked the thoughtful details and creative touches in the rooms and around the grounds. There's a free self-service bar and free bikes to get around. The park, with its centuries-old olive trees and three pools, including one for little ones, was a lovely spot to relax when we didn't feel like going anywhere. We had a wonderful holiday. Definitely recommend it, and we'll be back.

The staff were lovely and helpful, and the little balcony had a beautiful view. We spent eight nights here on our Lake Garda holiday and would happily come back. The apartment is tastefully furnished and has nearly everything needed to cook for yourself. The pool was great for cooling off, or as an alternative to the lake. Just be ready for a very narrow lane and a tight driveway. We had a wonderful stay and can recommend the place.
