It was really good value for money compared with other locations, and we were very happy with our stay. Matteo was extremely helpful with suggestions and available if anything came up. The location is fantastic: a short walk down a path takes you right outside the ferry terminal, with ferries to Bellagio, managgio and Verena. The pool and views are great too. The apartment is well furnished, though honestly it could use some money spent to make it more modern. It gets very hot in summer, so air conditioning should be added. We had fans on all night and were still too hot. The washing machine was a great, unexpected addition and really handy for doing laundry during the week. The pool is fantastic, but needs maintenance and repairs, including the damaged plastic around its edges. There’s also a hot tub and sauna, though that area needs maintenance as well. There’s a barbecue area too, so it’s very well equipped. If the owners spent a little money upgrading it, this would definitely be a 5 star review.

We were REALLY looking forward to staying here. The website says to contact them, so we called to book at 10 pm their time. It’s supposed to be a “luxury residence” that’s open 24/7. The woman who answered was incredibly rude and disrespectful. She didn’t even say hello, just started insulting my husband. We’re paying customers. I’d never give my business to someone so unkind. Shame on you.

The gardens are beautifully manicured, and the water views are absolutely stunning. It’s a must see!

The lake is easy to reach on foot from the complex, and there are restaurants and hiking routes up above it. The pools, including the whirlpool, are a real plus, as are the pleasant evenings outside the apartment. The location makes a car unnecessary, and I felt the price was fair for it and the pool facilities. The garage level is useful for secure parking and bringing bags straight inside, though its bedrooms and bathrooms could feel more inviting and have better equipment.

The setting and the view are what make this villa feel luxurious. The rest was disappointing: the electrics, lights and taps are faulty or dated, and the bedding needs updating. The advertised coffee maker is a little Italian pot that makes only two cups, despite the villa being set up for six. Wi-Fi was weak and unreliable. I won't be back.
