The breakfasts were delicious, and so was the coffee. Paolo was friendly and always ready to help. There are lots of lovely towns and natural beaches close by, so we found something different to do each day. We had a great holiday here and would happily come back.

Paolo and Lori make you feel at home. They cook a generous breakfast every day with traditional local food, and the aromas reach your room. Their advice about what to see and where to go in Salento was invaluable. We had a great stay and hope to return soon.

Paolo was wonderful, with really good tips for restaurants and places to explore. We spent four days here and found the rooms comfortable and very clean. The B&B feels welcoming, and its location makes it easy to get to some of Salento's most beautiful spots. We'd definitely return.

Paolo's advice on places to visit and eat was spot on. We followed all his suggestions and loved them. This September, we spent a few days at Contrada Macchia B&B, a handy base for exploring southern Salento. Marina Serra and Porto Miggiano, with their clear water, are about twenty minutes away; Leuca is around half an hour, and the lovely, not-too-touristy village of Specchia is only five minutes away. The place feels quiet and homey, with comfortable rooms and nice outdoor common areas around a lovely, recently built pool. Our simple room had what we needed. In the morning, Paolo picked up whichever pastry shop breakfast we'd chosen. The laundry room came in handy, with detergent available and drying racks that caught the early sun, perfect for getting beach towels dry for the next day. We also enjoyed the company of Arancio and Nerina, the two "guardian" cats. It was a pleasant stay we'd repeat.
