San Nicolò Suites

The place was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and everything felt clean and quiet despite being right in the heart of Trieste. The owners were lovely too: they helped us book restaurants and drove us to the airport for a fee. Our suite's shower could use a small update, though it didn't take away from the stay.

We found the check-in really easy thanks to the keyless code locks on every door, and parking is only about three minutes away. There's also a bar in the same building with everything you might want for breakfast. The apartments have clearly been redecorated recently, and done with care. They're a short walk from Piazza Unità and the central waterfront, in a lively area, but high enough up that the nights were quiet and comfortable. The rooms and living spaces are spacious and bright; the bathrooms and cooking facilities feel high-end in both looks and use. A lovely surprise, and easy to recommend for any kind of stay.

We slept well even with the cafes downstairs, and the location in Trieste was great. Our huge suite was modern and clean, with a jacuzzi right in the bedroom. The staff were very attentive and easy to reach on WhatsApp. We asked for decaf and they brought it, which was a nice touch. Would recommend.

We loved how luxurious and thoughtfully designed it was, and the location and communication were excellent. Wish we could've stayed longer!
