The bathroom floor was a problem throughout our stay. The shower had no door and there was no floor drain, so water splashed everywhere and left puddles. The air conditioning worked only on day one, then the room got very warm. We couldn’t open the window because the balcony was shared with neighboring rooms, and the only curtain was a blackout one that had to stay closed for privacy. Still, the accommodation was in a quiet area, conveniently close to the train station and city center. The room was clean and well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows.

The terrace view was the highlight of my stay at CXTurin Hotel, absolutely incredible and unforgettable. The staff were charming, friendly, and always ready to help. We felt at home right away thanks to a lovely welcome message. Our cosy, spacious room had everything we needed, including an electric kettle, a good range of tea and coffee with decaf, and two cartons of water. A wonderful stay, highly recommended!

The worst part was how this was handled. There was no mention in the booking information, at check-in, or in the room that the hotel switches off the air conditioning overnight. I only found out when I tried to sleep and the room became extremely hot and uncomfortable in the European summer. If that’s the policy, guests should be told clearly beforehand so they can decide with all the information. Staff said guests should run the AC during the day to cool the room in advance, since it doesn’t work at night. That makes no sense to me, and it’s not what I expect when I book a hotel with air conditioning. The hotel in the photos may look fine, but this basic comfort service isn’t being properly provided. Please be careful before booking.

The place had a nice energy, but it was missing some basics. The shower kept switching between hot and cold, and the room was too hot for me to sleep in, around 23 degrees by my estimate. I bought a fan and still woke up sweating several times a night. Reception tried to gaslight me, saying the government set a 20 degree minimum for cooling. I checked, and that’s just false: the winter maximum is 25. Either way, I’ve stayed in hotels where you can control the AC. This was misadvertised as having AC, but you only get whatever they give you, which I literally can’t tolerate.
