Soggiorno Marina

The location has a lot of potential: it’s right by the sea and in the center, and the owner is very kind. We booked the Mirabella apartment, but were placed in the Marina apartment. The rooms are very basic, the bathroom tiny, and breakfast minimal. The inside staircase is also very steep. I’d suggest being clearer about the offer on the website and putting more thought into breakfast.

Alessandro was incredibly attentive to us and our seven-month-old baby, and so kind and helpful. We felt pampered and at home, and we’ll be back soon. The place is right by the sea, only steps from the center. Our room and the shared areas were very clean, and breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended, thank you so much, and see you next time.

The breakfast room has a lovely view of the sea, and the location right in the center of Varazze means all the sights are within walking distance. I came back for a second stay this year and was glad I chose it again. Alessandro and the staff are friendly, kind, and helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean, with all the comforts you need. Breakfast was excellent; I’d just suggest a slightly wider selection of food.

I often come to Varazze, but I won’t stay here again. The owner is very kind, and the rooms are spacious, but the towels weren’t always changed and I ended up having to shower with dirty ones. Breakfast felt stuck in the 1980s, with just one diced slice of focaccia for two people. The stairs are narrow and steep, especially unsuitable for older people. I’d pay a few euros more for towels changed daily and something extra at breakfast.
