Alloggi B&B Allegri

The night manager found me wandering after I got lost trying to find the lodging, then guided me back. He was kind enough to carry my heavy suitcase up to the third floor, which helped since there’s no elevator. The staff were attentive and accommodating, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The stay was excellent overall and worth the cost. Grazie!

Luca welcomed us warmly and helped with our bags when we arrived. He also suggested some nice places to eat. Finding the place was tricky because Google Maps doesn’t work properly in Venice, but the directions Luca had sent beforehand eventually got us there. We didn’t get replies to our texts, so communication was difficult. The rooms looked older in person than in the pictures, and the air conditioning didn’t cool them as much as we’d hoped. It was fine for one night, though we wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer.

The host was excellent and very helpful. Our room was basic, but clean and comfortable, and the location was really convenient. Just right for a one-night stay.

There are lots and lots of steps. The location between Rialto and San Marco was good, but we skipped breakfast and the crib because we felt they were asking a lot on top of an already pretty good base rate. There is air conditioning, though the high humidity on the island meant it kept dripping condensation onto the floor.
