The direct bus to the old town stops right outside and gets you there in 15 minutes for just €1,50. Shops and restaurants are also an easy walk away, so the location worked really well. I liked the modern design in the room and shared spaces, and the rooms were comfortable. Front desk and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic but fine, with extras like fried eggs available for an additional fee. My main annoyance was a ceiling sensor that switches on the electricity. It ticked every two minutes while I was at the desk or lying in bed. The front desk said it was normal and present in every room, but I found it quite irritating. Still, I’d recommend the hotel.

We took a short trip to Venice at the end of last December and chose a hotel fairly close to the train station. The location is handy, with a bus stop right outside for getting to different places. It’s easy to find food nearby too, with minimarkets, restaurants, and cafes all around. Service was amazing, from the kind front office welcome to the rest of the staff, who served us with smiles.

I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels around Europe, and this was the best sleep I’ve ever had in one. The room was very clean and a good size for me and my partner. Even the shampoo and conditioner were nicer than the usual hotel products that dry out your hair. Everyone on staff was polite and helpful, and the lobby downstairs felt beautiful and welcoming. There’s a lovely bar on site too. One small heads-up: the lifts are tiny and often occupied by cabin crew, so we ended up taking the stairs quite a bit. That might be hard for someone with limited mobility, though it’s not really anyone’s fault. The train station is about a 10-15 minute walk, and two nearby supermarkets made it easy to pick up snacks and drinks. Thanks for a pleasant stay and the best hotel sleep I’ve had!

This was the worst Hilton experience I’ve had. I was ready to give five stars after the first two nights, but the checkout situation changed that. During our travels, hotels had generally given us until 12 pm. This one expected us out by 11:30 at the latest and told us only 15 minutes before that time. Nobody mentioned it at check-in, though they could have reminded us at 11 am. I politely accepted their rules and suggested they tell guests earlier next time, since hotel policies vary. They responded aggressively, saying it was all in the booking form and that they might forget sometimes. That felt ridiculous and rude, as if guests are to blame for not reading every rule, while the hotel takes no responsibility for forgetting to tell us. I’m sharing this honestly so other travelers know what happened.
