B&B Ca' Santo Spirito

The owners gave us great tips for restaurants and places locals enjoy, and we’ll definitely come back. This charming little B&B is just a short walk from St. Mark’s Square, in a peaceful spot close to the city center. It was spotless, cosy, thoughtfully arranged, and welcoming, with polite, attentive service. We’re grateful we got to stay somewhere so authentic to Venice. It brought local character and modern comfort together, and the experience was even better than we expected.

Breakfast came with a Mediterranean selection of food and drink, and the room had a large bed with a comfortable mattress. The building has plenty of character, and the B&B is well placed for sightseeing and getting around. Air conditioning and shuttered windows helped make it comfortable for sleeping. I’d happily recommend it and return on another trip to Venice.

Coming back to this quiet, charming neighborhood after the busy tourist areas was a real relief. The main Venice sights were still easy to reach. We had some confusion getting in at first, but after that the staff were excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was satisfactory, and the owner shared very useful local information.

We stayed two nights and had a great time. The B&B is tucked away from the crowds but still within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. Our room was right by the breakfast room, so we expected noise, but it was so quiet you wouldn’t have known other guests were there. The authentic interior added to the experience, and the bed was comfortable with a great shower. Breakfast had a good continental spread, with something for everyone.
