The stay was okay in most ways, but the pillows were awful and really uncomfortable. By our second day, we still weren't sleeping well. If you need a good night's rest without waking up with a stiff neck, I'd look elsewhere. Please get comfortable pillows for the guest rooms. Sleep is when guests need to rest and recharge.

The quiet was what stood out most. Venice can get noisy, especially by a canal or main street, but we slept better here than anywhere else and the apartment stayed peaceful all week. The bed was very comfortable, with a memory foam mattress and pillows. In the morning, the sunlight made the room so lovely we found it hard to head out and explore. We visit Venice three times a year, and this is one of the best apartments I've stayed in. We chose a room with an external bathroom and were unsure about that at first, but it worked out fine. There are three rooms, two en suite and one with an external bathroom, so it never felt crowded or noisy. I think there's also a ground floor room, though it wasn't in use during our stay. Check-in was easy. The host sent all the details and photos on WhatsApp, and communication was 10/10. There's a fridge in the room for snacks, juice, and water. We like having cheese and bread or bacala Montecato with a spritz before going out. Plates, cutlery, and glassware are available if you ask. Breakfast was simple but filling, so keep your expectations in check. This is a family-run B&B, not a hotel, and breakfast feels like a bonus for the price. There was coffee with refills, croissants, jams, cream cheese, and mixed yogurts. They can make an omelette if requested. The morning staff were happy to help with anything, and Marta was lovely. Breakfast runs from 9 to 10 am, which might not work for early risers, but there are nice coffee and breakfast places just two minutes away. What we got for the price beat our expectations. We'd definitely come back to this room if it's available on our next visit. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The rooms were comfortable and the self check-in went smoothly at 1:20 pm. I got clear WhatsApp instructions for finding the apartment and accessing the key. Breakfast is served only from 9 to 10 am, even though many sightseeing tours begin at 9. A special takeaway breakfast was available only on the departure day. The place was clean, aside from a little fungus in the shower corners, something you find almost everywhere. Apart from the breakfast timing, the stay was nearly flawless.

The room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was lovely. Our bathroom was next door rather than in the room, but it was just for us and had a washing machine. It's a nice hotel, about a 20-minute walk from the train station. Ms. Claudia was especially kind. We missed our first night on the trip to Venice, and she gave us a voucher refund even though our booking was non-refundable. Strongly recommend.

The room we booked was supposed to have a private bathroom, but it wasn't attached. The hosts said our “private” bathroom was in the corridor, and failed to mention we'd have to cross the breakfast room to get there. If I'd been fine walking around in pajamas or a towel, I'd have booked a shared hostel room. And the so-called private bathroom was actually the laundry room. This was the worst dump I've ever stayed in. We trusted the good reviews and booked it for a short visit. Arriving late in the evening, there was no light along the path to the entrance. When we opened the bed sheets, we found they were ripped.
