BB Patatina

The breakfast was wonderful, and it was easy to come and go. The managers seemed lovely. We stayed four nights, and it was a fairly easy walk from the water taxi, which is easy to catch at the airport too. Our room was on the third flight of stairs, with no lift, as expected in Venice. We thought we’d booked a balcony room, but it had two nice windows and no balcony. It was very small, with a queen bed and a large chaise at the foot that we used for our suitcases. There were no USB charging stations. Reviews had said the area was quiet, but that wasn’t our experience: there was a very loud courtyard concert on two nights, and tango dancing with booming music for three hours on another. The table in the room was tiny, and it would be nice to have seating in the corridor, perhaps with a coffee machine.

A clean, pleasant place to stay, with accommodating hosts. The bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was especially good. The B&B is ideally situated just outside the overly touristy areas, but still easy to get to. I’d recommend it for a nice stay.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely balcony. Breakfast was just what we needed: delicious pastries, fresh juice, and a hot drink, served in our room, which was lovely. The staff made the stay, especially one gentleman whose name we unfortunately didn’t catch. He was so friendly and welcoming. Absolutely fantastic hotel, and we’d definitely recommend this B&B!

Our room was in the attic, so it was quite a climb. We’d driven from Rome to Venice, but our GPS decided to play a prank and sent us the wrong way! The owner was very accommodating and made sure breakfast suited our plant-based diet. It was absolutely delicious. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations!
