I felt very safe staying here by myself. It was clean, the staff were great, and it was close to everything. Good value for money.

Check-in and check-out were super easy, and the location is amazing. The staff made us feel welcome, were so kind, and gave us great recommendations. They really went above and beyond. I’d definitely stay again.

The room was tiny, with hardly any room to move or store things, but it was cozy, perfectly clean, and the bed was big enough and comfortable. I stayed in the top room, which had a terrace and a wonderful view over the Basilica. The bathroom had that same view. It was worth every penny. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels and shower gel, though there was no hand soap. The hotel is just steps from Piazza San Marco and easy to find. The stairs inside could be a challenge. I’m planning to stay again on my next trip to Venice.

After about 15 years and five visits, I’ve just stayed here again for the first time since Covid. We spent three nights in a lovely, warm triple room in mid to late December. The room was spotless and serviced every day, and the gentleman at Reception was very helpful. I can’t wait to come back. The hotel is only a short 20 metre dogleg off Piazza San Marco, so the location is hard to beat. It’s easy to reach from the Alilaguna for airport trips. New management have put keypads on both entry doors, which work well, and you now keep your room key with you. The decor hasn’t changed, but the rooms have what you need and the hot shower has great water pressure. The stairs are steep. Depending on the room, you may get a wonderful view over the rooftops. Venice is for walking and exploring, and this hotel is perfectly placed for that.
