Toni and Marco were always there with a smile and good recommendations, and everyone we met was so warm and helpful. There’s someone at reception around the clock. Even before we arrived, the staff helped arrange a water taxi during the busy Venice film festival and suggested restaurants we really enjoyed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our four nights in Venice. Our room and its water view looked just like the pictures, and the waterfall shower had the best water pressure I’ve ever experienced. Getting picked up or dropped off by water taxi right next to the hotel was easy. Breakfast was delicious, with meats, cheeses, pastries, fruit, eggs and bacon, plus coffee and espresso. The location is hard to beat. Saint Mark’s Square is about a 10-minute walk, and a vaporetto stop is just a few minutes away. In the other direction, a few steps from the hotel, there’s a lovely neighborhood where we could get away from the crowds in the afternoon and evening. We highly recommend it for the personal feel, great staff and location.

The staff were warm, attentive and happy to help with directions, restaurant suggestions and travel advice. Breakfast had plenty to choose from and was delicious. Our room was comfortable, spotless and thoughtfully decorated in a nautical style, right down to the bedding and little design touches. The hotel is on the waterfront, with breathtaking views across the lagoon and Venice’s skyline. Waking up to gondolas and boats passing by was unforgettable. We had an outstanding stay at Hotel Bucintoro.

We booked a junior suite for four nights, and it was spacious and comfortable. We added breakfast, which was worth it. It was easy to head downstairs in the morning and start exploring without having to find somewhere to eat first. The waterfront location felt less crowded, and we enjoyed people-watching over afternoon aperol spritzs. There are great shops, restaurants and a park in the area. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We got engaged while we were there and were excited to tell them. Grazie for the celebratory drinks! We’ve just got home from Venice and already miss the staff at Bucintoro.

We’ve stayed at Bucintoro for years, and it’s always a wonderful place to be. It’s a charming hotel, with a great breakfast and lagoon views from every room. The staff are friendly and ready to help with bookings, transfers and information. Special thanks to Stefano. Every stay has been unforgettable.
