We spent over two hours just trying to get inside. There was no name on the outside door, and we waited there for more than an hour before finding a phone number for the owner. When we called, he asked why we hadn’t called sooner, even though no number had been provided. There weren’t any Google reviews either. This feels like an Airbnb presented as a B&B, with no clear sign or contact details for arriving guests. The apartment looked very different from the Agoda photos, and we had to share the living room with someone else. For the same price as a three-star hotel, we arrived to find the washing machine still running. I wouldn’t book through Agoda or Booking.com.

Stay somewhere else for a pleasant trip to Venice. The towels were wet when we first went into the rooms, and the whole place smelled like rubbish. There was no service at all, and its location on Booking was misleading. A horrible place.

We were happy with the hospitality and room service. It’s a nice family stay, with a supermarket very close by and an easy trip to san’Marco.

The interior feels very luxurious, but finding the building was difficult. There’s no sign outside and no photo showing what the exterior looks like.

The host was great and came to meet us in person. It’s an amazing place, and everything is so close. Michael
