Ca' Del Mariner with Terrace

I somehow missed that this was a B&B, even though it's right there in the name, and it turned out great. The room, location and breakfast were all great. There isn't much sound insulation, so it can be loud and privacy is limited. Italian can be a pretty loud language sometimes 🤪❤️

The staff made our stay special. They were friendly and helpful with instructions, and arranged a birthday cake for me, which was left in the kitchen and added to the bill. We also had a great breakfast buffet with fresh coffee and juice, and grabbed a coffee on the roof terrace before checking out. The room looked just like the pictures, maybe even better, and had everything we needed. It's in a lovely, slightly quieter part of Venice, but still within walking distance of everything. Couldn't fault the place, five stars.

The room was a good size for Venice. Everything was good, and I'd recommend it and come back.

The location made getting around easy, about a ten minute walk to Rialto Bridge and Santa Lucia train station. St. Mark's Square is farther away, but it's still a decent spot, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. We'd happily stay again next time we're in Venice. Our room felt spacious for Venice and came with a walk-in shower, safe, fast WiFi, Smart TV with free Netflix, blackout drapes and air conditioning. The bed and B&B were comfortable, and the staff were very friendly, especially Alessia.
