We had to pay for somewhere else to stay after the property turned us away. Our train was slightly delayed, but we had let them know before the check-in deadline. Even so, they refused to let us in, and wouldn’t allow check-in the next day either, despite the stay being fully prepaid. They marked the booking as a “no-show,” which doesn’t reflect the fact that we had contacted them in advance. Policies may apply, but refusing access for all the remaining nights felt unfair and showed little basic customer care. I’d be cautious about booking here.

We booked three nights, arrived, and found nobody there. The owner then refused to check us in, saying we were a no-show, and nobody answered when we tried calling. This is a scam, don’t book this apartment. We’ve filed a complaint and requested a chargeback to get our money back. The owner was dishonest and very rude.

At night it was quiet, and the location was handy. I did find it a little unclean, but I had no real problems and was comfortable. You could hear the gondola serenades as much as you liked.
