Locanda Ca' Zose

We had a fantastic stay for the price. The hotel was peaceful, and our room was clean, tidy and nice. It’s away from the crowds but close enough to walk everywhere, with the centre about 15 minutes away. There are good places to eat and drink around the corner, a pub called the corner pub five minutes away, and a supermarket within ten minutes. Check-in was easy, and the woman who helped us was friendly. There’s also a complimentary coffee machine in reception that’s available all day.

The breakfast suited us well, with pastries as well as eggs and bacon, and the woman making lattes was so sweet. This has been our favorite hotel in Italy so far, though we haven’t been staying in five-star places. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was larger than the ones we had in Rome and Florence. Nearby are a few glass shops that felt more authentic than the kitschy tourist traps. On the way to the Salute station, there’s a perfect little coffee and sandwich shop around the corner. This part of avenice is calm too, with fewer tourists crowding the walkways and boats.

A small, pleasant hotel in a quiet neighborhood, and the staff were helpful with whatever we needed. I’d like a bit more space between the heater and toilet, though. We bumped into the heater and burned ourselves a few times while using the toilet. In general, I’d recommend the place, and we’ll come back.

This was our favorite place we stayed in Italy. Locanda Ca’ Zose is in a quiet, convenient spot, just a two-minute walk from a ferry to the heart of Venice. Our room was clean and huge, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent, though it cost an extra €10 per person. I’d highly recommend it if you want a peaceful stay.
