We stayed in the terrace apartment, a beautifully furnished 70 m² suite with a large terrace overlooking almost all the landmarks of St. Mark’s Square. The view is hard to beat, and the price is much lower than a comparable suite in a five-star hotel. Breakfast arrived at the suite each morning, and having it on the terrace with San Marco in front of us was magical. Honestly, it got addictive. The setting is special too: the suite is in the iconic 15th-century Clock Tower, Torre dell’Orologio, where the Venetian painter Canaletto allegedly once lived. We’ve stayed in several classic luxury hotels over the years, including Danieli, Luna Baglioni, Ca' Sagredo, and Ai Reali. If you can do without nightly turndown with slippers and chocolates, plus an in-house gourmet restaurant and bar, Canaletto Luxury Suites – San Marco Luxury is an exceptional alternative. Highly recommended for a luxurious, unforgettable stay with a distinctly Venetian feel.

From our window, we had a view of San Marco square 🤩 The suites are amazing, the location is the best, and everything was perfectly clean. The lady in charge was lovely. Reception wasn't as good, though. Asking for an umbrella on a rainy day seemed like too much, even though check-in and check-out were handled very efficiently. I still recommend staying here. Our suite had two bedrooms, so sharing it with another couple made the price much more reasonable. I'd definitely come back.

Finding the place was a disaster, it took us two hours. Once we worked out that it was on San Marco square, though, the location turned out to be about as central and straightforward as you could get in Venice. The rooms are amazing, with a great bed and amenities, and breakfast served in the room was fantastic. Great service too. It's a brand new hotel with top technology, and I recommend the fifth-floor suite for a honeymoon. It really felt like a honeymoon hotel. For me, it's the best hotel in Venice besides Daniele.

Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were polite and helpful whenever we had questions or the occasional problem. They handled everything professionally. The suites are right in the heart of beautiful Venice, with priceless views from the windows and terrace. Even so, ours was quiet and soundproofed. Thank you.

The service was kind, and the suites were luxurious and clean. Waking up at San Marco to a direct view of the Basilica and the column with the San Marco Lion was breathtaking. What a beautiful, amazing setting, truly unrivalled.
