Ernesto was so friendly, and his city tips were really useful. Public transport is right outside, too. Just be aware there’s no elevator. If that’s fine with you, it’s a great hotel and I had a lovely stay.

Reservation number: 1700155518. I cancelled my booking and was told I’d get my money back, but nearly two months have gone by with no refund. I still have our WhatsApp messages. They’ve been read, but nobody has replied. This feels like fraud. Stay away, and don’t pay anything upfront.

The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was very good. The hotel itself is clean and pleasant, with lovely views and a historic setting. I’d recommend it to everyone ❤️❤️👍🏻

The location worked perfectly for us: the bus and train stations, plus the vaporetto stop, are all about a five-minute walk away. San Marco Square is around 40 minutes on foot, and there are plenty of cafes and a grocery store nearby. The old building feels like living in a piece of history. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was huge, though its view was of the neighboring roof. Breakfast was simple but tasty and filling. Reception was very friendly and always helped with our questions. It was an ideal place for us.

We couldn’t find anywhere else that let us stay with a bike. Since bicycles are forbidden throughout the city, this is a perfect base for bikepacking or a cycling trip.
