Industrial Loft Venice R&R

The neighborhood was the best part for us. It's quieter than the busy tourist areas, with a little cafe, a farmers market, and coffee shops to discover. Families live here, so it's not the spot for partying or being loud. It felt like a good value, and I'd recommend it if you're after a calm stay. The place was clean and well cared for, though the bathrooms had some mold, probably because the area is humid. I have an Airbnb myself, and I'd suggest changing the shower curtain and giving the shower a good scrub once a week. At checkout you're asked to take out your garbage. We carried it to the local bins each day; there's also a place to take it at the end, though we didn't use that option. The location is great, but check-in was a bit clunky. You have to arrange to meet someone for the key and agree on a time. With jet lag and an unfamiliar city, it's hard to know how long customs and the water taxis or buses will take. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.
