Casa Sulla Laguna

The garden was a lovely spot to watch the boats, and on a sunny December day the kind owner even let us stay there while we waited for our flight and gave us coffee for free. The owners had a gorgeous dog, and there were cats around too, which added to the happy feel of the place. We’d been to Murano before and loved its quiet, so after a short stay in Venice we were glad to find this lovely guest house at the end of the island. The host was so friendly and helpful. We only spent one night and wished it had been longer. I fell asleep early, then tried to shower during the night without turning on the light. I wondered why there was no hot water, but it was entirely my mistake: you need to switch on the electricity outside the bathroom door. I’ll know next time, and I hope there is one. Really recommend this happy little place. Thanks for such a relaxing stay.

Watching the boats from our terrace was so relaxing. It was quiet, peaceful, and with only eight rooms in the B&B, we barely noticed the other guests. Murano was a lovely place to end our Italian vacation, away from busy Venice but well served by water buses. The location, staff, and facilities were all top-notch. The shower was hot, the bed comfortable, and the view stunning. Don’t hesitate to book at Casa Sulla Laguna, you won’t want to leave!

We loved having cappuccinos and croissants prepared by our host each morning before heading out to enjoy a Venice without tourists. My wife and I like quiet and don’t like cigarette smells, and Casa sulla Laguna Venezia was exactly what we wanted. After our first summer trip to Europe, we returned to Taiwan feeling our stay here had been wonderful. The host couple is adorable. They don’t speak English, but they’re good with a translation app, so communicating was no problem.

Claudio was the best, so lively and accommodating. The room was spacious and had a breakfast table, and the shower worked well, with excellent hot water and great shower mats. My wife and I wanted a different start to our time in Venice, with early mornings and late evenings in Murano instead of just a quick visit. Casa sulla Laguna is a cozy BB at the very end of the island. Our room looked straight onto the lagoon, a great spot for a morning cappuccino.
