We found the apartment comfortable and homey, with everything needed for cooking, even the basics like salt and pepper. The host welcomed us at the vaporetto stop, warned us beforehand about bridge closures, and answered our questions quickly. It's only a couple of vaporetto stops from St. Mark's Square, but the quiet island was a nice break from Venice's crowds. We could have used a little heat on chilly October nights.

There are handy places nearby, including a well-stocked Coop by the Palanche stop, plus a café, bakery, and newsagent. The Tre Oci gallery's photography exhibitions are well worth seeing. The apartment itself is comfortable and accessible, furnished with antiques and elegant pieces. Zitelle vaporetto stop is just steps away, five minutes and two stops from San Marco, and it's easy to reach from the Ferrovia, Piazzale Roma, and Tronchetto. The kitchen has everything, including an electric oven and microwave.

We'd definitely stay here again. The place has a very Venetian look, sits on the ground floor, and is in Giudecca, a quiet residential area with bars, restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores close by. It's only one vaporetto stop from San Marco and made a charming base for a few days away from the tourist bustle. I couldn't give it five stars because mosquitoes bit us, it felt a little cold, and the beds weren't very comfortable.

The apartment on Giudecca is fully furnished. Its decor is a little dated, but still in good condition. Being near the Zitelle stop is handy, as you can get straight on a boat to San Marco Square.
