We had a booking problem caused by booking.com, but Matteo kindly helped us out and offered another room for a small fee. He’s a lovely, kind person. The stay itself was small, quiet, and beautiful, right in the center near restaurants, bars, and other things to do. I’d highly recommend it.

The courtyard was such a calm, beautiful welcome after the busy streets, especially since we were there for the last two days of Carnival. We had a lovely two-night stay at this sweet B&B. Matteo was a terrific host, gave us useful suggestions, and got the day going with a nice breakfast and coffee. Our room was beautifully finished and looked onto the courtyard. Rialto Bridge and plenty of restaurants were an easy walk away. Matteo is the sweetest, nicest host, and we’d gladly recommend the accommodation.

We loved waking up to pancakes in the courtyard, and the snacks and coffee available all day were much appreciated. Matteo was a wonderful host, and the location made it easy to reach the Grand Canal and vaporetti, with lovely places to eat just around the corner. Arriving in Venice along the Grand Canal was a great part of the experience. In the heat of August, our spacious, cool, comfortable room was a peaceful place to escape to, and it was spotlessly clean even while the city was so busy. I’d love to come back someday.

Matteo even walked us back to the vaporetto station so we could catch the right boat for our train. His thoughtful service was superb, and he went out of his way to make the stay just right. The hotel is central but peaceful, with a charming courtyard, a spacious room and bathroom, and everything very clean in this new property. Breakfast was wonderful, and coffee, tea, water, and snacks were available around the clock. Matteo paid great attention to detail, and the place has everything I’d expect from a five-star hotel. It deserves all five stars. Highly recommend.
