EGO’ Boutique Hotel - The Silk Road

We had a roomy, peaceful room facing one of the Canals, and it was quiet at night. The hotel is right in the heart of venice, just a few metres from the water taxi, so you don't have to drag your luggage very far. st marks square is a 10-minute walk or less. You step straight out into Venice's beautiful charm. I'd gladly come back and highly recommend it.

We stayed three nights in the junior suite with a Grand Canal View, and watching the boats and the lights at night was lovely. The hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and the bed was so comfortable I never wanted to get up. I'd definitely stay again.

Our room looked onto a side canal, with a comfortable bed, extra pillow, and towels. The hotel is on the Grand Canal, just steps from the Rialto Bridge, and about an eight-minute walk to San Marco. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Eidu, who went out of his way with our luggage and questions. Robert and Raquel were very courteous too. Include the daily breakfast if you can. You choose from a menu, and it's ready when you want it, served with excellent presentation by Raquel in a charming room overlooking the Grand Canal, with white tablecloths. Highly recommend this boutique hotel and its helpful staff.

The location made it easy to get everywhere, yet the hotel still felt tucked away and peaceful. I loved the canal views, the lovely room design, and the quiet boutique atmosphere. The staff were warm and attentive and made me feel welcome. Everything about the hotel felt thoughtfully done.
