They told us the room was ready, but it seemed like they may have cleaned another room instead. The shower was clogged and flooded. Going in felt really sketchy, though I guess they can't fix that either. I smelled really bad, covered in mold just a bit.

The host took a long time to answer our messages about cancellation and a refund. We had to follow up several times, and when replies came, they were dismissive and unhelpful. We cancelled because of serious health concerns for our children, who have severe allergies. The reported lack of air conditioning and mold posed a significant risk, so we explained our concerns early and asked for only a partial refund, knowing it would inconvenience the host. We got no refund, and the request was denied without meaningful consideration. They then issued a $0.01 refund, which seemed intended solely to prevent us from leaving a review on Hotels.com. It felt disingenuous and deeply disappointing. We were left feeling unheard and unsupported. The property may be sanitized now, but our decision was based on medical need and avoiding any risk. I hope other guests with similar sensitivities take this into account.

We booked two bedrooms but got one bedroom and a sitting room. The online photos are old and don't show how poor and unsafe the unit is. The bathroom fittings were dirty and loose, the washing machine door wouldn't lock, and the place needed a lot of cleaning. The TV reception was bad. We couldn't reach anyone for the access codes; they said they'd emailed them to an address we don't have. Dealing with them was arrogant, there were no privacy locks on the doors, and they said the stair handrails met their standards for privacy, security, and safety. I don't know how they got an average of six stars. We found plenty of better options. Don't waste your time or money on this dump. I have to give it a star rating to post this review.

The kitchen was very poorly equipped, and the bathroom's condition is left to the imagination. Mold covered some corners of the walls there too. The apartment was filthy, the bedding was moldy and unusable, and the sofa bed was broken and wouldn't fold out. The gray curtains looked like they had never been washed, and mosquito smears covered the walls. I don't recommend this place. It was far too expensive for such a terrible apartment.
